To keep costs down while not skimping on equipment I have taken to building my own items for my high power rockets. This includes the following.

• Launch Pad

• >Launch Controller

• Explosives Storage Box

• Locating Beeper

• Location Transmitter and Receiver (Radio Direction Finder)

For my projects I have etched my own circuit boards, this should not put people off if they have not done this before, I have created a page to instruct people new to this on how to do this. Etched circuit boards make the finished circuit look neater and is easier to work on because you do not have all of the wire links in the way. If however you still want to create the project on strip board I have also put down a suggested component and link layout for the more electronically challenged of you!
